History
Connectus is a privately held early-stage growing technology company specializing in innovative cloud-based software solutions. Our journey includes completing prestigious business incubation programs such as the University of Maryland's Tech Venture Accelerator, the GovCon Accelerator, and YCombinator SUS, originally from Stanford. With a strong foundation, we spent two years at Baltimore's Emerging Technology Centers (ETC), an incubator that houses over 100 early-stage companies working on new products, fundraising and business development. As active participants in the industry, we regularly sponsor and attend trade shows, present at key industry events, and are proud members of leading industry associations.
Connectus began as a telecommunications consultancy and in 2003 and began working on software products focused in the PR and advertising market. Our first product was called Digital50, an online news portal.
Connectus is notable as building and marketing the first single platform solution for public relations including various components of popular industry communications solution into a single platform.
In 2019, Connectus began broadening development to other products and focusing on the Connectus platform to manage not only Connectus' business but businesses connected to the Connectus platform.
